Where exactly is Locanda dell'Amorosa?: Locanda dell'Amorosa is located in Tuscany, in the province of Siena just outside Sinalunga, in L'Amorosa
How do I get to Locanda dell'Amorosa?: L'Amorosa is a few kilometers from the Valdichiana exit on highway A1. You'll find detailed driving instructions here: How to get to Amorosa.
What is there to do and see in the area?: La Locanda dell'Amorosa is an easy day trip to Florence, Siena, Arezzo, Perugia, and the Val di Chiana. Find out more here: Amorosa's recommended itineraries
Do you have a car park?: Yes, we have a private, outdoor car park
Do you have an internet connection?: Yes, there's free Wi-Fi and an internet point.
What television channels can I see?: All the main Italian channels as well as news channels in English, Spanish, French, German, Arabic, Russian, and Portuguese.
Can I rent a movie?: Yes, we have a selection of films in English and Italian which guests are welcome to watch - for free
Do you allow animals in the hotel?: No. As much as we love animals, our hotel is not a suitable place for them to stay
Do you have a spa?: No. But, on request, you can enjoy an in-room massage
Do you have a gym?: No
Do you have a pool?: Yes, we have an unheated 18 x 9 meter swimming pool, open from April to October
Do you offer a babysitting service?: Yes, but you will need to book the service in advance

At what time do I have to check-out?: By 12.00hrs
Can I host an event at the hotel?: Yes, though Locanda dell'Amorosa is a hotel designed specifically to cater for individual clients we can also organize events. The entire hotel can also be booked as an exclusive venue for a private event.

Is the church consecrated?: Yes, the church is a privately owned and consecrated Catholic chapel. On request, it can be used for Catholic weddings and other religious ceremonies.
When was Amorosa built?: Great part of the buildings which comprise the hamlet of Borgo dell'Amorosa and which are now an integral part of the hotel, date back to the 14th century, others were added in the 15th and 16th century. Although a number of alterations were made to the property in the 18th and 19th century, you can still see building work from the medieval and renaissance periods

Do you offer a half board meal plan?: No, we don't offer half board accommodation
What's included in the room rate?: Room rates include buffet breakfast (in high season) or served at table (in low season), drinks from the mini bar, Wi-Fi connection, use of pool, tax and service charges.
What type of cuisine is served in the restaurant?: Our menu is based on traditional Tuscan and Mediterranean cuisine. You can see some of the delicious dishes served here: Restaurant dell'Amorosa
What's the menu like?: The menu is comprised of starters, first courses, second courses, side dishes and desserts
How often do you change the menu?: The menu changes according to seasonal ingredients and we regularly offer a daily special.
Do you have a fixed price menu?: We have one (and sometimes two) fixed price menus.
What kind of environment is the restaurant? Do you have a dress code?: It's an informal restaurant and there is no dress code to be respected. All we ask is that customers behave politely!
What are the restaurant kitchen opening times?: The kitchen is open from 12.30 to 14.30 for lunch and from 19.30 to 21.45 for dinner
Do I need to book a table?: It's always a good idea to reserve your table, especially for dinner.
Do you have a weekly closing day?: The restaurant is closed to the general public all day Monday and Tuesday lunch time. When the restauarnt is closed, hotel guests can choose from a reduced menu of simple but, nevertheless, delicious dishes.
Does the restaurant cater for special events?: In order to guarantee the peace and tranquility for guests staying at the Amorosa, the restaurant does not cater for large groups. Large groups will be accepted only when the entire hotel has been booked for exclusive let.
